Instagram Q&A
I asked followers if they had any specific plant shop questions I could address in this podcast and blog. Here are the questions and answers:
"Top 5 best shops in WI for the plant with long term health and success- and then best bang for plants $'s?"
Top 5 best shops... Watter Greenhouse & Farms, Bayside Garden Center, Milaeger's, Equinox Botanical Boutique and Mod Gen.
Best bang for your buck...Watter Greenhouse & Farms, Milaeger's, Steins and any big box store.
"Do any of them ship? For those of us who don't live in the area."
Unfortunately not. If you know someone in WI/IL and you want to buy a gift card to one of these places, and ship them the gift card, most of them would do that!
"If you had to pick 1 place to shop for plants, where would it be?"
Watter Greenhouse & Farms. Hands down. With the combination of knowledgeable staff, common houseplants, rare houseplants, all usually starting in smaller size, is definitely why I love this place so much.
